Illinois Divorce Law -- Enrolling/Transferring Judgments from Other States

Your ex (or you) may have moved to a different state after your divorce decree was entered. You should know that the decree may be enforced in another state under certain conditions. A divorce judgment may be "enrolled" with the court here in Illinois, and the Illinois court can enforce it just as if it were entered here. If you meet the conditions, enrolling is not very difficult.
