Tax Issues for the Non-traditional Couple
In May 2009, Terrence Benshoof and I co-authored "Tax Issues for the Non-traditional Couple" in the DuPage County Bar Association's Brief magazine. The article, covers the complex issues surrounding this topic. The article primarily concentrates on key items involving taxation problems for single people living together, whether same-sex or opposite sex couples, where the law treats the couple as individuals for tax purposes.
